What happens when you call us.

From the first phone ring to the final warranty registration — the exact, repeatable process every Maritime Air Co. customer gets. No shortcuts. No surprises.

  1. You call or text — Devon or a senior tech answers.

    No phone tree. No call center. We ask the right questions about the symptoms, walk through the most likely failures, and tell you up front what a service call will look like. About 1 in 5 calls gets solved on the phone for free.

  2. Same-day or scheduled appointment.

    We confirm a 2-hour arrival window. Same-day for most calls before 2 PM. Emergencies and no-cool situations move to the top of the dispatch board automatically — no surcharge.

  3. Full diagnostic on arrival.

    Visual inspection, electrical readings (capacitance, contactor pitting, motor amp draw), refrigerant pressures, superheat/subcooling, static airflow, duct inspection. Marine: raw-water flow, strainer condition, condenser fouling, control-board voltages. Nothing skipped.

  4. Plain-English explanation + written quote.

    We sit down (or stand on your dock), show you what we found, and walk you through your repair-vs-replace options in numbers. No commission. No pressure. No "while we're in here." You approve in writing before we touch a tool.

  5. Repair or install — by the book.

    Brazed joints, torqued lugs, level pads, vacuumed lines to 300 microns, charged by weight or subcooling, sealed plenums, secured wiring, registered warranties. The boring stuff lesser shops skip — we do every time.

  6. Photo report + system walkthrough.

    We photograph the work as it happens — pressures, before/after, wiring, finished install. You get a copy on request. Then we walk you through the thermostat, the filter location, the breaker, and what "healthy" looks like.

  7. Warranty registration + follow-up.

    Every manufacturer warranty is registered the day of install. We check back within 30 days to confirm the system is running clean and you're happy. If you're not, we come back free.

What You Won't Get

Things our techs are forbidden from doing.

  • Recommending a part or service we wouldn't install in our own home.
  • Quoting a number verbally and then writing a different one on the invoice.
  • Charging for diagnostic time when the diagnosis takes 10 minutes.
  • Refusing to leave you the failed part. (It's yours. We bag it for you.)
  • Pressuring you to decide on equipment replacement the same day.
  • Recommending replacement to avoid a repair we just don't feel like doing.
