HVAC Repair & Maintenance Experts in Fort Pierce, FL
Why regular HVAC maintenance is essential for residential, commercial & marine systems — especially near saltwater.
Schedule NowCondenser Coil Cleaning: Protect Your AC From Saltwater Corrosion
Living on Florida's Treasure Coast — from Vero Beach to Jupiter — means enjoying beautiful beaches and constant salty ocean air. But that same salt accelerates corrosion on your AC condenser coils, leading to refrigerant leaks, reduced efficiency, and a shortened system lifespan.
At Maritime Air Co., your licensed & insured HVAC experts in Fort Pierce (License # CAC1824400), we specialize in condenser coil cleaning to combat saltwater oxidation.
The Saltwater Challenge
Salt-laden air is highly corrosive to the copper and aluminum coils in your HVAC system. Over time, oxidation builds rust and micro-leaks that:
- Reduce cooling performance
- Increase energy bills by up to 30% (U.S. DOE)
- Cut AC lifespan from 15–20 years to just 5–10
