On standard single-stage and 2-stage Carrier systems, yes. On Carrier Infinity, no — Infinity is a communicating system and requires the Infinity Touch thermostat to function fully.
Often the 24V power feed has lost continuity (a tripped float switch, a loose A/B wire, or a failed transformer). We diagnose and repair Infinity Touch issues regularly.
Côr was discontinued, but existing units still function and connect. We can replace failed Côr units with a current Carrier or Ecobee equivalent.
