Tempstar is one of International Comfort Products' (ICP) primary residential brands, alongside Heil, Comfortmaker, Day & Night, and Arcoaire. ICP is owned by Carrier Global and manufactures equipment in Lewisburg, Tennessee. All ICP brands share chassis, compressors, and engineering.

Salt-Air Corrosion Considerations

Salt air is the single biggest killer of HVAC equipment on the Treasure Coast. Sodium chloride accelerates galvanic corrosion of copper coil tubing, aluminum fins, condenser fan grills, and even electrical lugs. Maritime Air Co. recommends coastal-grade coil coatings (Heresite, Bronz-Glow, ElectroFin) on any replacement within 1/2 mile of the ocean or Indian River Lagoon, plus quarterly fresh-water condenser rinses. This single practice often doubles outdoor unit life.
